It was a major inconvenience to try to find someone else last minute. ——— Update after response from owner: the owner did tell me they had a family emergency on Sept 24. That night they provided the quote for my order. On Sept 25, the following morning I asked how should I pay and get a contract. On Sept 29 I sent a follow up text. On Sept 30, anxious because my wedding is Oct 18, I offered family condolences and asking if someone on her team could help me instead. I got no response whatsoever, so I rushed to find another caterer at short notice.
