This appears to be a fairly new location and I really want to commend the manager. He was super professional as were the workers. PG County has a (perhaps unfair) reputation of having poor service so it was great to see exemplary service for a change. The food was good as usual and the location was very clean.

They aren’t serving smash burgers. I went there yesterday. Left out with my what was supposed to be a smash burger single patty & Cajun small fry. Opened my bag and burger in foil wrapper to see a golfball sized wad of meat hidden in my bun. No smash burger. Such a disappointment.

I have to say, the two times I've been to this Five Guys in this last year has to be the only times I've not been full after a burger and fries meal at this chain. Shrinkflation has hit this place hard and I don't know if it's just this location in particular or all Five Guys locations, but for some reason they're using these crappy small disposable brown french fry bags instead of the white cups you see in the plethora of pictures and videos online. In case the franchise owner is not aware, Five Guys *was* pretty well known for providing the illusion of giving their customers an unfathomable amount of fries. That's the whole point of them giving you the various paper cups; filling the already respectable cup sizes, then filling the bag with even more. The illusion of having overflowing amounts of fries spilling into the bag is lost when you're using these small fry bags that only have a fistful or two of fries. Even the amount of the fries you get in the bag does not compare to what it used to be. I went back in to the restaurant to confirm if they actually gave me the proper amount, giving them the benefit of doubt that they had given me the small brown fry bag on accident from the first time I ordered the little fry and that I was actually was suppose to receive a small white cup for a regular size now, but no, they instead show me that all the fry sizes for the location were these tiny brown bags in marginally increased sizes for the cost of $5.79, 7.49, and $9.09 respectively as of the time of writing. The bags themselves were so indiscernible to one another, how can I even trust that the employees are even giving me the sized I paid for? Now I just feel like I'm being cheated of out of my money, which I definitely am because even after eating the double patty burger, which is noticeably small as well, I'm not even full, which is absurd for having spent $20 here. The quality of the food hasn't declined, but the value proposition has never been worse. I won't be coming here again.

I love 5 guys. Food is yummy and atmosphere is great. But omg the fries shrank significantly. I'm REALLY disappointed in the small fry being so tiny now. I don't see why its worth it to shrink them....they were so generous before. Now I won't go to 5 guys as often or skip fries altogether. The food is expensive yeah...but I felt ok with it because I got a good amount of fries. Please put the fries back on the little white cups. The little paper bag is crazy for the price charged. I dont want to tank their reviews because they are still decent.....but I'm seriously disappointed in the lack of fries.
