The restaurant was nearly empty (as it usually is), yet the staff clearly did not want to seat us—not because of space or availability, but because they were worried that accommodating a large party would “aggravate” or upset their service staff. The hostesses had to consult with each other, and then began openly arguing with the manager about where—or whether—we could be seated. This discussion took place directly in front of us, which was uncomfortable and completely unprofessional. Despite the restaurant being empty, no reasonable effort was made to accommodate our group. Instead, we were made to feel like an inconvenience for simply bringing our family in to eat. For a family-friendly chain restaurant, this was unacceptable. If you are unwilling or unable to seat larger parties—even when the restaurant is empty—this location should make that clear upfront. We left and took our business elsewhere.

Our server Austin was amazing and is definitely an asset to Outback steakhouse. Highly recommend for a promotion or a raise. His level of professionalism was beyond extraordinary. Great Job
