- BBBrianOct 5, 20251.0I am pro-immigration and hate what ICE is doing, but this restaurant is a perfect example of why people without empathy resent immigration.💯 The person working, the drive-through here could not enunciate English. The one position that requires mastery of the language more than any other position, in a medium in which fluent English speaker sometimes cannot understand each other, was staffed by someone who was completely unintelligible. When I said that I could not understand her, someone else came on who probably should’ve been staffing the drive-through all along. She spoke clearly to me for a moment, but before telling me to pull around, she had a side conversation with the other person in their native tongue while I was still listening. They laughed, probably at me. When I pulled around, I said something about it, trying to be helpful. The worker who spoke better English still looked at me like I was insane. So if you want to experience gaslighting, by all means go to this Dunkin’ Donuts. If you want to be able to understand what is said to you and be treated with respect, please go somewhere else.
