  First of all, this is an arcade. I don’t recommend coming here specifically for food as it is not good. Professional/nice barbers are hit or miss. This location is bigger than the one I usually go to in Silver Spring, Which is nice they have options to choose from free games. It seemed like every other machine. The day we went was broken, and I had to keep finding someone to reimburse our tokens. And when we went to the game shop to exchange tickets, the cashier do not friendly at all, to me or my 10 year old nephew. You know, my nephew is old enough to pick up on things. And I remember as we were leaving, he asked me why the people that work there are so mean. Which broke my heart.

  I don’t know who is in charge of recruiting but whoever employed the staff “Leshell” needs to let her go . She’s obviously frustrated at her job and was very rude to my team and I. Upon arrival , she told a customer who sat next to me and has an intellectual disability that he should remember to give her a tip because she doesn’t work for free . At one point she literally spoke loudly and addressed us saying she was the only staff attending to 35 of us and she wasn’t going to repeat herself and had the right to refuse orders because at the end of the day , we weren’t tipping her . Another time , a colleague of mine showed her food on the menu and she asked the colleague to tell her what the menu was . We came to spend our money , not beg for food and drinks . She was very rude and had an attitude problem. If she’s overworked or tired of the job , she should leave it and maybe you guys should get more than one staff to attend to customers , telling us she had told us before to wait and we were all up in her face . It’s very bad on the Dave & Buster’s Brand and one thing’s certain , my team and I are never coming back here . Absolutely unacceptable behavior.

  I made a 4pm reservation for me and my sister so we could watch the superbowl. This was my 1st time going to Dave and Busters. I live a little over an hour away from the Hanover location. At approximately 5:30 we were told that reservations for the game was backing up and we needed to leave. I explained that I had a 4pm reservation to enjoy the pregame show and the actual game. I was told that game reservations started at 5:30. That information was not given to me when I made the reservation. I don't like confrontation and conflicts so I told them I'll just leave. I remained calm and soft spoken throughout the conversation. I don't think I'll be going back.

  I visited this location recently and it’s seemed as if the staff was unsure of how to perform the services. I stood patiently in a line for a minimum of 40 mins that never moved until the person in-front of me hopped the line to the hostess to get clarity on the delay. The restaurant simply was not seating people despite having tables and staff. And I massive growing line. They finally get to me I’m alone, my family is off playing games. The waiter older white male no hello, “what do you want” I place my order and he comes back with a drink 20 mins later. His hands and nails were so gross it made me inspect my cup. My drink had oil sitting in the top of the beverage. I waited for him to return to cancel the order he never came back. I asked the hostess for a manager. That took easily 30 mins. The manager black female maybe late 20’- early 30’s comes over and just stands there again “no hello, I’m the manger, how can I help”? So I inquire tell her what happened and she just stares at me. The waiter comes over and is trying to listen to the conversation despite being M.I.A for at least 50 mins. I simply share that I would like to cancel the order. I can’t trust that my food is being prepared in clean conditions. She said ok. Stands there and then I grab my stuff. 4 mins goes by she says “can I get you anything” I said eh no thanks, just wanted you to know. She said “I’ll talk to the kitchen. How about a game card?” I accept. She stands there and I ask are going to get it, is there somewhere I’m suppose to go. She says” I’m waiting for you to follow me.” Despite never moving her feet. So my suggestion would be not to eat here. The games were fun my 5 year old had a blast but it’s possible they have limited staff and little to no training. I do want to clarify I do not believe the waiter did anything to my drink. I just believe the restaurant doesn’t follow safe practices. Hand washing, proper food storage, cleanliness. The experience made me nervous of food poisoning.
