- BBBillFeb 21, 20264.0I’ve been to Jimmy Joys a few times. The wait staff is always pleasant and friendly. My experience has been that the soups are always delicious, especially the cream of crab. The steamed crabs are always a treat. Beyond that, I’ve found that the other dishes leave a lot to be desired. Most recently I ordered the beef brisket sandwich and I wish I would have sent it back. It needed to be cooked longer plus it was full of fat. Too much fat to make a good sandwich. Stick to the soup and crabs. Avoid the brisket.

Amazing atmosphere, definitely kid friendly, clean, and our waitress was incredible. She provided us with everything we needed but also left us alone to eat. I really wish we had somewhere like this back at home I would drive 3 hours here just to eat again. Oh and my crab legs were literally perfect. My fiancé got the Reuben sandwich and French fries. His fries were so good! Overall I loved this place and we might come by again tomorrow! Highly recommend.

No mistakes. No food sent back. Very efficient and pleasant. I had the open faced roast beef sandwich with the most delicious homemade mashed potatoes. I then purchased a slice of coconut cake to take home which was an amazing cake. It is four and a half hours away from my home and I would drive over for a date night and Saturday locally. It is definitely a local hangout.
