  Nice and convenient grocery store with a good selection of fresh produce and everyday essentials. The store is clean, aisles are easy to navigate, and checkout lines move pretty quickly. Staff is friendly and usually willing to help if you need something. Great spot for quick grocery runs or weekly shopping!

  Good place to buy groceries. They also provide the restroom for customers. You will need to ask staff for the passcode.

  FINALLY......Safeway INC has improved Greenway Center location to MATCH their Fairwood Bowie LEVEL of service and organization!! Both Entrance and Exit working - ✓ Cash back at self check out - ✓ Organized Shopping Carts - ✓ Why did it take almost 10yrs - x Thank you and stay consistent!!

  This is absolutely one of the worse Safeways as far as customer service. I was discriminated against today by the manager of the seafood department I had just arrived to the store I go to the seafood counter no one was there. Another customer came up a female and she said this was her third time circling the store and no one was at the counter. So as I walked over to the meats the seafood dept manager came back he greeted her with a smile and was respectful to her then I asked him for two cans of lump Baltimore crabmeat this man who let me reiterate is the manager he was so rude the way he spoke to me this is not the first unpleasant encounter I had with this seafood manager. However getting back to the incident he was going to force me to get in line and pay for the crabmeat before I was even finished shopping I had just arrived to the store and I explained that to him as we were approaching the front to go to a cashier then he said well you have to come back to the counter to get the crabmeat once you're done shopping. He would not give me the crabmeat and I said are you going to be at the counter because no one is ever there at that counter when I come to this store so he starts getting an attitude and saying to me I'm the manger I am not just going to be standing around. So I didn't say anything else. But why single me out because I'm black and look young I have disability as well that's not visible and the fact that I was treated like a suspected criminal in your store by another black man he speaks to me like a racist person. I called your corporate number and spoke with someone your district manager is on notice and he wasn't supposed to single me out that way your store has a serious problem with customer service and discriminatory practices mainly coming from the black male employees. I am law abiding citizen most of those men you have working in your store probably have criminal records. I don't and I don't appreciate being treated like that. That Man in the seafood the so called manager seems very angry and volatile and aggressive towards certain customers now I'm being met with discrimination possibly and again corporate has been of this egregious act against me. Its almost as if I'm being targeted and singled out. Suffices to say I went back to the counter he once again took me over to Ms Annette who was very nice and she rung me up but this egregious what that seafood manager did today. Your store has a history of bad customer service and unless you have written policy there is no reason why I should have been singled out to have to pay for groceries before I finished shopping corporate has been notified and they said he should not have done that
