Nestled in the heart of Germantown, Maryland, this spot hits all the marks for convenience and atmosphere, boasting a pristine exterior and a sparkling, well-stocked interior. However, the experience was a tale of two halves. While the manager on duty led by example—rolling up their sleeves to help the crew—the execution at the counter fell short. My Veggie Sandwich with cheese arrived poorly assembled and missing the pickles I specifically requested. It’s a beautifully kept location with a great vibe, but the attention to detail in the kitchen needs to catch up to the high standards of the dining room.

They gave such a SMALL amount of fries for my LARGE order... even less fries than the typical small I would get at other Five Guys. On top of that, the fries had no taste. Worst experience I've ever had at a Five Guys. Avoid this establishment. Go to another Five Guys.

They didn't pay attention to the order.. order was right on paper but instead of green peppers they put jalapeños peppers smh. This a reason that I don't need to eat fast food. But haven't had it in 2 years.. Guess I'm not missing anything.. The one in Bowie is amazing though fyi

Five Guys Veggie Sandwich: A Soggy, Structural Failure Rating: 1/5 Stars (Would Not Recommend) I recently visited a very busy Five Guys location hoping to find a decent vegetarian option and opted for the Veggie Sandwich. Unfortunately, what I received was profoundly disappointing—a messy, structurally unsound disaster that completely failed as a meal. From the moment the sandwich was presented, the issues were obvious. The regular white bun, which is clearly not designed to handle any moisture, had completely dissolved under the simple weight and wetness of the toppings. It was served already soggy and falling apart, leaving me with what looked and tasted like a wad of white soggy bread. The entire presentation was non-appealing and incredibly messy; it was impossible to eat without the contents spilling out. Beyond the catastrophic bread choice, the quality of the "veggie" filling was lacking. If Five Guys intends to offer a legitimate vegetarian option, they need to do better than piling a few standard toppings onto an absorbent bun. This option is a disservice to vegetarian customers and a waste of money. They desperately need to change the bread option to something toasted and substantial, and actually provide real, meaningful vegetables that constitute a satisfying sandwich filling. To compound the problem, the staff at this busy location were noticeably unattentive. While I appreciate the challenges of a high-volume restaurant, basic quality control was absent, and getting any attention for assistance was difficult. In summary, I was thoroughly disappointed with both the presentation and the taste of the Veggie Sandwich. It is a very messy and non-appealing choice. I would not recommend this item until Five Guys commits to a complete redesign of the product, starting with the foundation (the bread) and moving up to the substance of the filling.
