I placed an online pickup order and later realized it was sent to another Frederick Ave location in Gaithersburg. I initially asked if my order could be fixed or remade in store, but I was told I would have to request a cancellation online and place a new order at this location, which I did and paid for without a problem. When I asked for the manager’s name—only in case I needed it when reaching out to Chipotle customer support for a refund—she came out and was rude, unprofessional, and hostile from the start. The manager, a young Latina woman with tattoos on her chest, refused to provide her name, laughed at me, told me “Do what you want, I won't give you my name” and walked away while I was still speaking. I remained calm and respectful throughout the interaction. As a former Chipotle employee of over 6 years, I understand the importance of treating people with respect. This experience was unacceptable and does not reflect Chipotle’s standards. This manager needs retraining on basic professionalism and personal values. I ate my food angry and couldn’t even enjoy it. I will not be returning to this location.
