  Me and my fiancee decided to try out jimmy johns, today is our 3rd year anniversary, I've never been prior, decided to try it out. The subs are ok, I just feel like there wasn't barely any meat on our subs compared to the veggies. I got the chicken bacon ranch sub and I saw the bacon but didn't taste any chicken. Also, my fiancee ordered his roast beef and cheddar sub to have no horseradish sauce and they ended up putting it on. I personally clarified that to the counter person when placing our order.

  The Jimmy John's in Rockville/North Behesda closed a years ago because of its poor location & horrific parking To my amazement I discovered Frederick has a Jimmy Johns..again with not the best location, but it's staff are mostly friendly & friendly/helpful especially the G.M. Mary + today Danny, the co-manager who created today's perfect sub. One exception is an often out of control employee who admittedly by Danny & others is desired to be fired, but apparently corporate Jommy John prevents it fear likely of lawsuit After a horrific experience john approached when I was next door at FedEx and he coached through writing up my experience to send it to the owner to protect him once he could fire the employee. I happily complied , but the employee was still there October 7th and I was told by Mary..if I continued to request special treatment in my orders, I should leave immediately I left immediately and went next door to discuss today's events with the fedex manager To my surprise.. mary and the same employee were eavesdropping on my private conversation This jimmy John's serves great food and has few customers throughout the day I have written great reviews with the help of Danny describing sandwiches I have not yet eaten Sadly this jimmy john is doomed for the same fate as Rockville It normally delivers through Door Dash at menu prices + 30-40%. Every so often a high school student delivers [i was told by Da ny for $5.00 pay + any tips she makes] which, If true violates maryland & federal minimum wage laws The Spicy East Coast Sandwich I rate .Jimmy Johns "Best in its class in Maryland South of the Pennsylvania border" Plus "The best kept secret in Frederick" They deliver..likely can cater parties & events Call and ask for Mary or Danny to place an order..or just come in Update Sept 15th This week through the app I got an offer to try the Sicilian Toasted Pizza Sandwich I added lettuce /tomato+ onion & oregano+ pepper slices I received one of the best Sandwiches I have ever eaten Why Jimmy Johns is perfection is their bread..locally sourced produce & the meats are always fresh/never frozen Adding the toast makes any sandwich, in my opinion THE BEST IN AMERICA...my toasted pizza sandwich, today was my favorite Jimmy John's sandwich ever. [However, I was told on 10/7 only a few of the sandwiches can be toasted at frederick because of corporate rules](at gaithersburg jimmy John's, the staff will happily toast any sandwich to compete with jersey Mike's & potbelly]..the lack of imagination of the frederick jimmy John's dooms it to failure, in my humble opinion and decades of restaurant experience) Update 9/25 Needed my Jimmy John's fix I drove 12 miles to find Jimmy John's busy..but the staff blew through the cue Nathan suggested #11 - the country club. He suggested i toast it The sandwich blew away Jersey Mike & made Firehouse large sub look like a junior. I added extra tomatoes/ cucumbers & onions and pepper as & ate only half because it filled me up The vegetables I learned last time are locally sourced. No sub shop in America uses locally sourced vegetables except this Jimmy John's I am addicted to Jimmy johns..but after my Oct 7th experience..no longer at the frederick location Spread the word til Jimmy johns of frederick will likely become a dinosaur before 2028. So get your jimmy johns "fix" soon while the "getting is good" P.S. for dessert Shane suggested either the fudge brownie or the triple chip cookie. I bought both..ate half of each. Shane knows desserts..both were fabulous Shane for sure, will soon be gone to better opportunities & more appreciative management & owners 10/7..today I must lower my ratings to 2 stars ..why the food..the sandwich preparation is inconsistent too often But when it is good...it is great..Sadly not the management & owner I rarely lower my ratings ...but today is just sharing my truths Honestly..jersey Mike's and potbelly are consistently just as good..often better than this Jimmy John's. Gaithersburg is always great as is it's management & owner

  The older lady that picks up the calls is extremely disrespectful and has no place talking to customers over the phone. I placed an order and they never sent it to me. I completely forgot about it at the time because I was super busy at work. Jimmy John’s has done this multiple times in the past and they always called me to return my money but this time they didn’t and I didn’t call because I was busy. Today I ordered again ever since that last time and saw on my app that the last order was still active and said “track”. I simply called just to see if they can check it out and see if I’m being charged although it’s been some time and the lady completely blew up on me. Super rude and a nasty attitude. She didn’t even ask me why I called. She cut me off to say “there’s nothing I can do for you” BEFORE I could even explain myself. She then said I was a waste of time. Terrible customer service. I could care less about the sandwich but she gave me a reason to leave this review because of the way she speaks to people

  It depends on who's working, but tonight's Thursday night crew, hands down, made the best Jimmy John's sandwiches we've ever had. We go to a different Jimmy John's at least once a week, but this location crushed it tonight. Thanks, guys.
