Love the food. Cafe Bueno needs to discount Veterans, not just active members. Maybe I will find some other restaurant for my discount and my service.

I have had to stay at the hospital for over and month with a relative and not familiar with the area. I found this place driving to the hospital and have been back at least 5 times! Everything I have had is delicious and super flavorful. I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve ever eaten here. The service is quick and everyone always very accommodating and kind. Highly recommend

Really surprised by the high ratings. Most of our meal fell short of expectations. The guacamole was very disappointing—it mostly was filled with cucumber, tomato and radish rather than avocado. The tortilla chips were also too thick and unpleasantly hard. The chicken in the tamale was undercooked and chewy, while the vegetable fajitas lacked any real flavor beyond oil and salt. They were underdone too. Ordered our food spicy. They just sprinkled some chopped jalapeño and charge extra multiple times for each dish. The only saving graces were the decent salsas and the house margarita, which was perfectly balanced."

We visited for the very first time on Saturday, February 7th. From the outside, it looks like an ordinary place, but the moment you walk through the front door, you’re welcomed into a wonderful atmosphere. It feels like an art gallery, filled with terrific people and great food—and surprisingly affordable for families. The décor, brought from Mexico, creates a magnificent and vibrant setting. The staff is attentive and genuinely focused on taking care of your needs. The food is some of the best Mexican-American cuisine we’ve had by far, and the desserts are outstanding as well. Highly recommended.

First time here, wait staff was attentive. While the burrito was okay the frijoles were bland. Salsa is not provided (it’s $5) we go the queso instead for $9 and it tasted like cheese from a can. I’m sure you can find somewhere better in Fredrick, even just down the street.
