Gerrie and Catherine were very helpful at the register today. Other staff members were helpful as well, but I didn't catch their names. I was able to find frozen loose spinach, frozen avocado chunks, a big bag of frozen dark red cherries, deli ham slices, provolone cheese slices, inexpensive bread, perfect bananas, and nonfat plain Greek yogurt.

We often order and pick up our groceries. I’ve been pregnant and we have a 4 yr old. But the service is spotty. Sometimes the person bringing out the groceries has been rude. Some of the substitutions do not make sense at all. I’ve had to go back to return food I did not want or ask for. We now have a newborn at home. I ordered for 5-6. I heard nothing from the store but my husband arrived at 5:30 and they said they would be 10 minutes. They lied. He called again - they were still getting the order. He went in - they were still getting the order. He finally got the order at 6:20. He had been there nearly an hour and every time he asked for an update, they said it would be 5-10 min. It would have been more helpful if they were just honest about the status of the order. If the order wasn’t going to be ready in the timeframe we requested - let us know! We won’t be returning to this location anytime soon. Just be upfront so we can plan accordingly. Oh - and never got a receipt.

If I could give it no stars I would. Dirty, staff unhappy, and prices are high.

We love this Giant for the convenience but the highlight of the store is the deli department. Betty, Marvin and Li. Before I reach the counter I’m greeted with big smiles and welcoming spirits. Betty always knows what I like and cuts a perfect slice. We love Boars Head Honey Maple and munster cheese. The deli is clean and stocked. Betty always has great recommendations and we have enjoyed all of them. She will have a line down the store and will still smile and ask you about your day as she slices your meat. Professional, fast yet efficient and good hearted people. I hope they know that they have made shopping these past years so enjoyable just by their kindness towards my kids and I.

I’ve shopped at this Giant my entire life because of the convenience, but the consistent lack of basic customer service has become exhausting. While some staff members are kind, the attitude at the registers and self-checkout is often dismissive or outright rude. Simple questions are met with annoyance, and friendliness is rarely returned. My breaking point was a recent experience returning a spoiled item that was a month past its expiration date. Despite having the receipt and photos, the employee was hostile and questioned why I didn’t bring the actual spoiled food back into the store. She treated me like I was being dishonest, even though I had proof. Thankfully, a manager (whom I believe is relatively new) stepped in and handled it with kindness, but the "attitude adjustment" needed across the board is significant. I’ll keep coming for necessities, but I’d rather drive further for a better environment. I want to add an additional unfortunate experience to my review, as this Giant unfortunately continues to disappoint. I ran in recently for a last-minute ingredient while cooking and discovered at self-checkout that there were no bags available. I politely approached the employee working and asked if there were any bags left. She did not make eye contact and responded sharply, “We don’t have any left. Deal with it.” I was genuinely shocked by the response and chose not to engage further. I completed my purchase and left. I truly do not understand why someone would work in a customer-facing role if they have no interest in providing basic customer service. That said, there is one person who truly carries this store: Rhonda. She is the sweetest, kindest woman I have ever met and the only reason I continue to return to this Giant. She is an absolute gem, and more people should strive to treat customers the way she does. To my local neighbors: avoid this Giant if you’re able to shop elsewhere. And if you do have to go, be prepared for rude staff—unless you’re lucky enough to be helped by Rhonda, who is consistently warm, professional, and kind.
