We did a early service knowing that it was going to be Valentines Day we just wanted to have a nice, quiet night, but while we opted for their Special Valentines Day Menu which consisted of supposedly shrimp in a sauce as an appetizer? They showed up 4th in the game after the soup, which was cold, and salad which were nothing to write home about and this this woman does salad all the time. We felt like like we were being snow shoved out the whole door quickly even though they weren't even though half full. The salmon was over cooked and dry but by that time I'd had enough, my Charlie is okay no matter what but the steak wasn't as good as good as it is for him next door. Very disappointed.

We hosted the memorial dinner of my father recently. They gave us the back portion of the restaurant and a pared down menu. Way better than renting a reception hall and catering the food where you'd sit in plastic chairs, eat baked ziti or chicken cacciatore at a cost about $3500. Where here we had Carrabas atmosphere, way better food. The price was higher than i thought @ $35 a plate. Our guests were invited but it was understood they'd pay for their own meal. However, I knocked down their price by paying $10 per entree so they paid $25. I also paid everything for family and funeral helpers. Total for me was $1850. Everyone was happy, no one felt slighted and we had a great remembrance of my parents at one of their favorite restaurants...

When we were walking into the restaurant, a cloth napkin/towel was taped to the front door handle (with packing tape). Once we walked in, the very first booth near to the reception desk had a bunch of napkins, silverware and other odds and ends laying all over it. Other than that, the restaurant was clean and well maintained, well lit and felt safe in the parking lot area. We do not eat at Carrabba's very often but decided to have lunch there as we were across the parking lot at Kohl's picking up a new air fryer. The discussion we had regarding lunch options was about going to Uno's, Outback or Carrabba's and Carrabba's won. We are foodies and my wife graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Culinary Arts specializing in Italian and Seafood. We don't leave reviews very often as it takes a level above the standard to get our attention. Since my wife's specialty is in Italian, we also eat out for Italian food much less than any other cuisines. Our server "Cordelia J" was fantastic and greeted us warmly with a smile as we sat down and was always keeping an eye on our table along with another table that she was taking care of every time she happened to walk past (in both directions). Any time we needed her attention, she diverted from her intended destination and took care of our needs immediately. She followed up each time on the items we brought to her attention (such as a request for a drink refill letting us know that it was in process and that we were not forgotten about) and checked to make sure we were happy with the food. We had asked to speak with the manager and let him know of our appreciation for the job she did and he requested that we go online and post it so that the Corporate folks would be aware as well. Bravo Cordelia and thank you. Since you have a spot for photo's, although I didn't take any of our lunch experience, I'll photo-bomb you one of my puppy.
