It was a bit strange to see the Showcase on Main turned into an Indian restaurant. But, as odd as that was, I couldn't be happier with the new spot. Service was fast and friendly. The Chicken Korma and paratha were probably the best I've ever had, anywhere (and that includes India!). The mango lassi and garlic naan were also excellent. I'm not from around here, just visiting local friends, but I'll make sure we return to It's Masala Time whenever I'm back for my next visit! (The food looked/smelled so good I forgot to take pics before digging in)

Great food and wonderfully attentive service. I had the garlic naan..warm and fresh, the veg samosas which were crispy and flavorful and the veg pakota which was also fresh, tasty and well crisped...a bit salty for my taste, but I don't use salt in my own cooking, so it's probably fine for anyone else. Very authentic. I used to live in Baltimore City for years and had a favorite Indian spot there. I've not found one that rivals since moving 13 years ago, but this spot may just have to be the homie! Just come and fall in ❤️

Walked to counter to pick up my order and my feet stuck to the floor from entering they need to wash it obviously. It was like maybe someone spilled soda and let it dry now everything you stepped you could hear your shoe letting go of the floor. Anyway before I got to the counter as I was walking up the guy kept repeating 19.56 or what the price was. Not hello just the price until I got close enough to understand him and I said what I ordered then he repeated the price again. I got chicken tikka masala and asked for medium spicy and the guy on the phone said yeah yeah yeah like he heard me but did not. The food was a little pricey I thought compared to the Indian place I normally go to. They gave a very small container of rice half the size of my normal place. The masala had a good flavor though. Id eat here again just hope the kitchen cleanliness is not indicated by the dining area floor.

If you are tired of Americanized Indian food that tastes like heavy cream mixed with some masala and are in search of authentic north Indian food, this place is it! Owner works with your spice level preference to customize the dish for you. You get the choice of American spice level or Indian spice level. We asked for Indian medium spicy and it was perfect for us. Some of the dishes we have tried include dilli wale chole bhature, kadai paneer, malai kofta, paneer tikka, aloo tikki chaat. Owner is very kind and friendly. We have become regulars at Masala Time.

The food was fine (not horrible, not great). Everything was a bit too sweet. Food was served in plastic to-go containers for some weird reason. We asked for fresh plates for our mains after the appetizers. Our server refused noting that these are use-and-throw plates. Dahi puri was too sweet Papri chaat was 95% Papri and 5% chaat Aloo Tikki chaat was good Chicken Shahi Korma was fine (it was rich but lacked flavor in my opinion) Saag paneer was good.
