- WBWilliam BarronApr 28, 20262.0Used to be a fan but sadly the prices went up while quality went down. It went from a good burger a notch or two above fast food to overpriced junk. Our burgers were low quality beef that was dry, chewy, gray and bland you couldn't even really taste the meat at all. The only thing really you could taste was all the gluey cheese and an odd sweet taste. I have to say the fries were still good as was the milkshake. Service was ok but they forgot one of our drinks (one which we paid extra for to get the lemonade on top of their ridiculous prices no less). Its a shame to say but with the outrageous prices and now lower quality we won't be back. Be better off getting a sit down restaurant burger at the same price or cheaper.

This time in particular, I looked right at the guy handing me food and said ‘no salt in the fries, yes?’ He said ‘yup!’ And it was salted again. I called to complain. The guy that told me ‘yup’ answered and told me I didn’t call. Asked who answered. The only female worker there 5 minutes before had answered. He suggested to me there wasn’t a female worker there. Just him and the cashier.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
