- RHRyan HunsickerNov 17, 20255.0My family of four dined in at the Dunkirk location Sunday night. We ordered at the register, which included an appetizer and entrees for each of us. Our appetizer came out fairly quickly, but our meals did not. One by one, we saw other tables that came after us receive their food. We were patient, but 30 minutes later our kids were losing it. The employee who took our order noticed we had not received our food and went back to the kitchen to see why our food was delayed. Their system had a glitch, and none of our food besides the appetizer ever got to the kitchen. One of the managers came to our table to explain the situation, comped our entire meal, and offered our kids cookies while they waited for their food. A few minutes later, one of the co-owners, Chad, introduced himself, checked to make sure the food we received was satisfactory, and once again apologized for the inconvenience. This is why we return. This is how you do customer service. Thank you Chesapeake Grille!
