I’ll be going to aldi or Safeway from now on where I can feel comfortable checking my 10$ worth of groceries out 10:13pm Friday the 13th 2026 bought a watermelon and was accused of not paying for it when my total was 10$

The hot chili in the prepared food section is the reason I gave three stars. Several times now I've discovered an empty container midday and no chili in the kitchen to replenish it. I've asked and the workers generally state there is no chili. Which is disappointing for my son who looks forward to the chilli whenever we stop by. The chicken noodle soup is always full, but he isn't a fan of it. If the chili is going that fast then it is clearly a popular item. So my suggestion is an obvious one. Please have chili during the lunch hours, and maybe later in the day for those who grab some for dinner. Having an empty container on something so simple is just neglectful and bad business.

Anytime that I have had a problem or doubt or needed a rain check the service desk staff is always happy to help.

Had to have help at the self checkout. She wasnt very friendly, acted like everyone should know how to operate their self checkout process. Hire actual human cashiers, maybe you will retain more customers. Im not shopping there to increase your profit margin, I shop where its easiest for me. Hire human cashiers!!!
