I was disappointed with my experience here. The pizza was overpriced and undercooked. The crust was soggy, the “sausage” tasted more like plain ground beef, and the cheese was scattered unevenly across the pie. The slices were so floppy that the toppings kept sliding off, which made it messy and frustrating to eat. It feels like they’re trying too hard to reinvent something that should be simple and done well. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
I recently ordered takeout from Pupatella and unfortunately my experience wasn’t great. When I arrived to pick up my order, the host seemed irritated and like she didn’t really want to help me. To be fair, it was busy, so I’ll give the benefit of the doubt that she may have just been overwhelmed.
The bigger issue was the pizza itself. It was very undercooked and doughy in the center, which made it hard to enjoy. The pizzas are also fairly small for the price, which made the experience feel even more disappointing.
This was my first time trying a margherita pizza, and I was really looking forward to it. Sadly, it didn’t live up to expectations. I don’t see myself coming back based on this visit.

I want to believe in this place I do, but I've eaten there twice and both times the service was slow and rude. This last time they sat us at a broken table that wobbled, and they refused to reseat us somewhere else. They just made us wait while someone jabbed napkins underneath, which barely helped. Meanwhile there where three other tables nearby that hadn't been cleaned. The first time we went some guy literally yelled at us from coming in "the back" when we just went in the entrance on the side facing the street.
Worst of all the pizzas came out lukewarm, almost cold. They're so thin in the middle and soggy that the slice just flops over in your hand. For nearly $20 for a "personal size", four slice pizza, it's just ridiculous.
Also my daughters kids meal of literally just pasta, red sauce and a meatball, took twenty minutes longer than the rest of the food to come out. Some different server came to deliver it evetually and gave it to us with no apology, nothing by way of customer service at all. Oh, and what kind of self respecting Italian restaurant serves naked pasta with a scoop of marinara on top. Cook the pasta in the sauce, it's like rule #1 of good Italian cooking.
Basically, I can tell the ingredients are quality, but the execution is terrible. They're charging fancy restaurant prices and giving you Pizza Hut service. Which makes sense because the building used to be a Pizza Hut. The menu is limited too, really just pizza, a few sandwiches, and some massively overpriced appetizers.
Maybe they get it right sometimes, I know people who say the place is great, but they can't be very consistent because both times I've been there it's been awful.
Ordered a small pepperoni pizza and adult ziti. Both terrible! No flavor, lots of pasta noodles and not enough sauce. The meatballs (only 2) tasted like a ball of meat with no seasoning. The pizza crust was soggy and pepperoni tasted funny. Never again!
Really good pizza - crust was just right. We had the sausage and rapini and the ham and mushroom pizzas - my only complaint is that the rapini tasted more like overcooked broccoli than it did rapini. Rapini is supposed to have a slight, almost licorice-like flavor to it. The amaretto/limoncello flight also tasted watered down. Overall, would return for the pizza.
