  We used to love coming here. It's gone way down hill. Most of the games are broken and missing equipment. My favorite game the walking dead the one gun has been broken for months and won't reload. Any game with balls like basketball, skeeball, etc. are missing most of the balls if any come out at all. I'm tired of wasting my money. You swipe your card and a lot of the games won't even play after taking your money. They said they credited me but nothing went back on my card. You have to wait in line forever to get any help but there's a ton of employees walking/standing around doing nothing. The bathrooms are disgusting. Do better

  Would’ve gave this place a 1 star, but despite our situation, the employees were extremely nice and understanding so I’m giving 2 stars. To start, after one round of laser tag ended, the worker disappeared out of nowhere and left me and about 10 other people waiting in line for at least 30 minutes. We kept asking the front desk what’s up and it still took an eternity to play. Then when we got to bowling the equipment wasn’t working, and we had to keep asking the front desk to rest it for us. We finally got it working, but only made it to about 5 rounds because the machine that picks up the pins just stopped working. We ask for assistance, but minutes gone by and nobody is coming to help. While we were bowling we were also asking how we can order the food to the table and nobody ended up coming after asking for about an hour.. which was odd because we saw other people getting their food served to their lanes. Also, the bathrooms were awful. Pretty much every toilet was clogged, tissue all over the floor, and even sinks full of paper drenched in water. My friend even said that there was glass all over the bathroom floor from a smashed bottle. At the end of the day, we did get a refund so I’m appreciative about that. But I feel like we definitely wasted our time here.. we didn’t leave til after midnight. Probably won’t ever come here again but the employees attitudes and the loaded fries on the menu were great 👍🏽

  We went last night with our adult kids (there were 7 of us), figuring it would be a fun New Year’s Eve evening. We spent over $700 on credits to play. The place was a sorry excuse for a Game Center. We were going to eat there but they were out of half of their choices and the place was filthy. No pizza, no pretzels, no brussel sprouts, no cheese sticks, etc. Instead we ended up next door at Juan Julio’s for an excellent Mexican meal. The Main Event employees were scarce and could barely be found when needed. Half of the games didn’t work, costing us credits and the place was small with a limited amount of games. We lost credits and money, and when the time came to pick our prizes, the store was picked clean. How can you run a business like this? We will never return.

  They should train better their server in pink uniform at the restaurant. On 12/31/ 25 around 8 pm, nobody acknowledged us for about 10, we went to the bar to ask for a server. it took over 30 minutes for us to get a mediocre burger and some wings and she brought the wrong side as well. Rarely show up to check on us, there were only 2 tables occupied at the moment. We had to stand up to get water, napkins and utensils because the server was nowhere to be seen. She did not pick up the empty plates either, there were other tables around with duty plates during the hour we were there. I let here know there was water on the floor and they never took care of that either. On the other side, the bartender has always provide great service!

  I visited Main Event Columbia today for the first and last time. My son wanted to go for the arcade and a lot of the machines were either not functioning at all or would look functioning, but take your credits with the card swipe and then not work. This happened to us multiple times. Staff was aloof and unhelpful. No one working there seemed to care about anything and behaved like they were doing you a favor if they did interact with you. Walking in from the outside entrance pretty much set up what was to be expected. For some reason all the entrance/exit doors were locked except one set on the left. Why are most of the main doors locked at 3pm? Upon entering I was hit with the overwhelming smell of weed. Not an environment I really want my 9 year old son in. That issue persisted as we moved about the place. It hung in the air, especially near the bowling lanes. When we went back to the restrooms at one point there were people who looked to be employees hanging out in the corridor and the odor of weed was very strong there as well. At that point between the non functional games ripping me off for credits, employees with unhelpful crappy attitudes, and the stench of weed in the air I had had enough. A disappointing waste of time and money. Never again.
