- MMMaya2 days ago1.0Awful customer service experience. I visited the Clinton location today between 10:00–11:30 AM today to ask about the customer service center. The workers/manager on duty did not ask what my concern was or attempt to help in any way. Instead, they immediately stated that the customer service center was closed because they were stocking shelves. There was no effort to provide assistance, alternatives, or basic courtesy. Stocking shelves should not completely eliminate customer service, especially without even asking what a customer needs. Very disappointing experience. The will not return to this location again.

Got to customer service, nobody was there (it was after 10:30) Was told by the cashier the managers were in the produce area. Both ladies didn’t even bother to turn around and acknowledge me for at least 2 minutes. When I was finally greeted first thing they said was “nobody is working customer service” then asked how much my check was then said “we don’t have that much” like it mattered after you already told me you weren’t going to help me either way. Just feel like that was rude as hell. At that moment I was a customer and was brushed off by both “managers”
- RMRobert Miller5 days ago1.0This store has to be one of the most poorly managed Safeways in southern PG County. The store never has carts IN the store, always in the parking lot. There are no hand baskets in the store and when asked, was told that people steal them others no point in replacing them. There is never more than 1 cashier working causing the self checkout line to reach the back of the store. It’s a disgrace that people in this community even spend their hard earned money in this outdated and overpriced store. You go in other communities and don’t see these conditions. Safeway has been around for years, they should be ashamed. And I hope someone from corporate sees my review.

It took me 35 minutes to reach the checkout lady, and only two people ahead of me. Only two lines were open. A lot of elderly people were in the store and having a hard time standing up, to check out. It is not fair for these elderly people to stand up for a long time. Very, very sad.

The most resent when I went to the seafood department and no staff was around. I wanted to buy crabs and no one was near, I yelled out anyone here and nothing. I could see this store losing money and is barely hanging on... I really only come here is I have no other choice.
