- JFJ. FoslanJun 18, 20251.0After six years in the area, I have never had a particularly good experience at this store, but today was the absolute low point, and my final visit. I have a lot more to say, but will keep this short: They have only one assisted checkout line, with no option for help if you have a smaller number of items. The self-checkout is very difficult to use, especially if you have fresh produce. The old man attending it is singularly unhelpful. Should you, like me, get stuck behind a shopper in the ONE staffed line who insists on bagging her entire month's groceries at the speed of molasses, cheered on by the "nice" but oblivious cashier, you will find yourself occupying the very special portal to hell upon which this franchise was assuredly built. It should NOT take fifteen to twenty minutes for you to check out a small number of groceries, with no alternatives but the horrific self checkout. A "quick" stop at the supermarket should NOT lead a person into the beginnings of a spiraling panic attack. Thank you, ACME, for such a blindingly terrible shopping experience. I will NEVER again second-guess driving out to Denton or Easton to buy groceries. Thank you for bringing a new level of clarity back to my life.
