I received my cake with the wording looking like my six year old piped it herself and the Hello Kitty picture on the cake is lifted and rippled. A huge disappointment…I'll stick to buying their premade desserts!!

- MDMichael DwyerOct 8, 20251.0Giant used to be our one stop shop that we would go to once a week or so, since they have a wider variety of options than pretty much any other grocery store in the area. Unfortunately, the prices are ridiculously expensive compared to the many other smaller grocery store options within a couple block radius. The 24 hour pharmacy was a perk that kept us coming back despite the high prices, until our prescriptions were filled late (several days after they were supposed to be ready) 4 months in a row. They closed one of the two entrances into the building and marked it as emergency exit only a few years ago and STILL haven't done anything to improve the bottle neck to get in and out. But the final straw for me was earlier this year when I witnessed a Hispanic man with his daughter struggling to push a cart filled with cases of bottled water out the exit and the security guard came over, I assumed to help him push his cart out the door. Nope. He wanted the man to prove he had a receipt and embarrassed him in front of his young daughter and all the people waiting to exit, only to confirm he had in fact paid for it all. At this point, your money is better spent supporting one of the many other grocery stores in the area. It will go much further there too.
