    The food is good but my order placed through the app was missing the items when delivered. Tried to contact the store several times and the phone either does not ring or ring and hang up on you. Tried to find a way to dispute through the app but there is no way. Suggest the company or store look into this matter for issues of this kind to get a resolution.

    This location needs a huge lesson on how to provide appropriate customer service. It was such a waste of both my time and money. I'm a regular customer of Tropical Smoothie and placed an order through the app. When I arrived at the customer pick-up area at 7:38pm, there was another car already waiting and the app said my order would be ready by 7:45pm. A person came out around 7:40pm and I gave them my name before they quickly walked away. I waited until 7:54pm with no further updates and the car was also still in front of me so I could not pull up to get assistance. I got out of my car and walked over to the sliding doors, remaining outside. I lifted my hand to ask a staff member to come over, as I simply wanted to check on my order after waiting there now for more than 15 minutes. An employee came over, did not greet me, and rudely told me to go back to my car and wait. I was astonished! No hello ma'am can I help you... nothing. Just go back to your car. I calmly replied that I've been waiting for a while now and want to know the status of my order. I was again told to go back to my car. I then asked for a manager and was told "the manager is busy". Wow. I again expressed that I'm concerned about my order and that a manager should be able to speak with me. She then told me I'll tell her you asked and I stated thank you, that's a much better response than just telling me the manager is busy. I waited outside and the other driver applauded me remaining calm, sharing they were frustrated as well with the bad service and long wait time. The manager, Asya, eventually came out and spoke to me with an attitude, chastised me, and said she had no control over the pick up process. I tried to share my concerns and had to ask her to allow me to speak because she cut me off twice instead of listening. Me and the other driver expressed that at least 8-10 cars have gone through the drive thru service along with customers inside receiving their orders faster than we were. Then the manager rudely replied that "I'm holding up the process now with my concerns." I see why the employees have terrible customer service, if that is the example set by the manager. At that point, it was clear Asya would be of no assistance. I made note of her name and she unprofessionally held up her name tag towards my face with an I don't care attitude, told us to report whatever, and then went back inside. Me and the other driver were in disbelief at the rudeness, dismissal, and unprofessionalism. Considering all that took place, this location will not get my business again.

    I really appreciate that this location has an express drive-thru for mobile orders. It’s convenient and makes pickup quick when you’re on the go or with the kids. The food itself was good and exactly what I expected from Tropical Smoothie Cafe. However, the customer service during my visit was extremely disappointing. When the employee approached my car, she didn’t greet me. I said hello and gave my name, but she didn’t respond—she simply turned around, got my order, and came back out. When she handed me my food, there was still no acknowledgment. I said “thank you,” and she just walked away. Interactions like that make customers feel unwelcome. If staff care so little about basic courtesy, it honestly makes you wonder whether the same lack of care carries over into other areas behind the scenes, like cleanliness and food safety. I enjoy Tropical Smoothie Cafe as a brand and appreciate the express pickup concept, but the service at this location on this particular visit was concerning. Prince George's County deserves better. I encourage all of us to call out poor service when you experience it.

    This Tropical Smoothie location at Ritchie Station has to be one of the most poorly run. I placed an online order and had to sit and wait in a drive up line for the order. I got out to get the order where there is a sign that says delivery pick up and a young man with long locs told me I couldn’t be there. He said I needed to go park. I went inside and there were quite a few people waiting and at the register. I’m not sure if it’s incompetence, poor management or some combination of the two but their operations are ridiculous. I’ve been to other locations and none are like this. First and last visit here. Oh and a lady with a headset had the audacity to say thank you all for your patience. What other choice to people have when they have paid for food and you’re holding it hostage. A complete joke

    So I just moved to this locality, went to this place 4 times in a week! First 3 were amazing, same drink SUNRISE SUNSET. The 4th time experience was bad (Sunday evening 7:30pm) I ordered a mobile order got there 20min late so requested if they could add some ice and blend again, they did (happy) . When I tasted it, the flavour was diluted. I owned up to my mistake and paid again for a regular one instead of asking them to remake. The second one I paid for also tasted diluted! I was gonna suck it up and leave but paying twice and not getting what I wanted upset me. So I went back telling them something was off and doesn’t take like original. My server called the “General Manger” who carried an attitude stating I’d have to pay more if I want more fruits. All I’m asking for them to do their job properly SMH, the third drink ended up being bad too! I just don’t get it. How can a place taste good 3 different days and taste bad on a specific day?! Management should look into training employees on making drinks with perfection and customer interaction! Especially to the Manager herself. The 3 staff members I encountered previously were super nice.
