This establishment is happy to set up shop in an African-American community and take our money, yet nickel-and-dimes customers once they’re inside. I came in with my family and several children and asked to purchase a 2-liter drink to accommodate our group, only to be told it couldn’t be ordered or consumed in the store. It’s frustrating to see businesses profit from our community while placing restrictive and disrespectful policies on us as customers. I’m tired of supporting companies that want our money but don’t treat us with respect.

I want to preface that I’ve been in customer service since I was 13 and I am currently 27. I ordered my food over the phone when noticing I have a coupon for my birthday. I called back to see if I can use my coupon in store when told No. I ordered online and changed 1 of my pizza orders. The cashier was young, not accommodating and had a terrible attitude. Her body language and facial expressions while explaining to me that I was being difficult due to the change in order. I was also asked to pay again even though I paid online. I paid for extra dipping sauce as well as seasoning packets and was handed such items with attitude. When saying thank you and have a good night I was given no eye contact and not a word. I don’t believe the saying a customer is always right but a customer does require to be apologized for any inconvenience or misunderstanding. A simple “ good evening welcome to Ledos , I understand there was a miscommunication between over the phone with your order. Please note that any changes online and over the phone may need further clarification, it’s no problem to make any and all accommodations as long as you are aware of the time frame needed to do such.” It’s clear & direct. That can also be said with a smile , warm greeting and welcoming body language. Some one needs to work on their customer service because the assisting manager was no better. The front of the store wasn’t busy either. Shame!

We usually get our Ledos from another location here in MD. I won't name them here but let's just say the Capital Heights location was a whole different experience. Hands down the best service I have ever received at a Ledos. The cashier was pleasant on the phone and very patient. I didn't feel rushed at all and it was the same experience when I got to the restaurant. A friend of mine recommended this location and it didn't disappoint. My other location is very inconsistent when it comes to making the pizza. I cant speak on that for this location but the pizza was good. I would have liked a little more sauce on the pizza but I like to see what they do generally first before orderering extra sauce. Too much sauce isn't a good thing. We will order again and see what we get. Consistency is what I am hoping for and then we can tweak from there.
We ordered the deluxe and a cheese pizza with extra cheese. My son who doesn't really care for Ledos didn't complain. I was surprised he wanted pizza in the first place. He usually orders the Chicken Parm sub. If you order cheese pizza, be sure to get extra cheese or the cheese will burn.
