  Waited a long time to even give my order at drive thru. Pricing unclear. $12 combo somehow became almost $15 because I got a lemonade as a drink. The new bacon cheeseburger had nearly no identifiable cheese. Definitely not a do again. No receipt Given.

  Manager decided to close the store at 8pm! I placed an online order, I called the restaurant because the door was locked and asked could they just bring the food out. They responded "no inside is closed you have to wait in the drive through". There were about 15 cars already in the drive through!! Terrible team and terrible nangagement!

  I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. On 2/27/26 around 10:00 PM at Wendy’s Store #5283 in Beltsville, MD, I witnessed extremely concerning food safety practices. While waiting at the drive-thru window for my drinks, the employee preparing them sneezed and coughed directly into her hands. She then wiped her nose with the back of her hand and continued handling beverages without washing or sanitizing. I politely asked if she could wash her hands before finishing my order. Instead of correcting the issue, she rolled her eyes and walked toward the food prep area. I asked another employee to ensure she did not handle my food without washing her hands, but my concern was ignored. When I repeated my request, I was met with hostility and profanity in Spanish. I also observed another employee working behind the counter with a small toddler present in the food preparation area, which raised additional health and safety concerns. When I asked for a refund due to the unsanitary conditions, the manager took the food from my hands and shut the window. She then returned to the window to tell me that because it was a mobile order, I would need to contact customer service for a refund. There was no attempt to address the sanitation issue or resolve the matter professionally. Food safety and basic hygiene should never be negotiable. The lack of accountability and the hostile response made this experience extremely disappointing. I hope management and corporate leadership take this seriously and review sanitation and staff training at this location.
