  We always enjoy the food at Passage to India. We were disappointed that the passcode on the website that said 15% off didn’t actually work.

  1 is an overstatement for this restaurant. I came here to be "adventurous" and was sorely mistaken. As a Punjabi and overall proud Indian, I am well versed not only in cooking but trying out Indian food across regions. My paneer malai kofta came to my table raw and with no flavor. The kitchen recreated it and told me it had potato in it. Upon trying it again, it was raw and cold .. again. There was no flavor, balance, or anything that stood out. The gravy in the dish was overpowered with cream. The garlic naan was not fluffy and airy, and also came out cold. The rice had parts that were raw and other parts that were overcooked. The staff wouldn't answer questions fully and leave the table before you could order, however overall they were kind. I would not reccomend this place. Though the reviews are raving, upon actually dining here there were a lot of mistakes for the price paid that don't make practical sense. Though the decor has history for display, the light fixtures kept going in and out, and the music would turn off for long periods of time. The bathroom is well decorated. There are better Indian eats in the DMV.

  Great experience! Three of us went for lunch here and the food + service were amazing. I had the samosas, butter chicken and garlic naan, absolutely delicious. The owner (I assume) and staff were friendly and on point. We will definitely be back, I highly recommend Passage to India.
