- AAAndreaSep 22, 20255.0I’ve never left a review for a Giant employee but I’ve never had the pleasure of interacting with someone like Ramona Stevenson before. Here’s what happened: I ordered a sheet cake for a friend’s upcoming pre-wedding toast. The morning I arrived to pick up the cake (which was supposed to include a photograph of the bride and groom) the cake was ready but it looked terrible. Apparently, the main baker was on vacation and the junior baker (and 86 year old man) had been assigned to make the cake: needless to say it looked like an 86 year old junior baker, bless his soul, had decorated it. Ramona was called over to weigh in and he jumped into action. He called a friend of his at another Giant in Potomac village to see if their head baker could re-do the cake. He could. Then Ramona drove his own car from Bethesda to Potomac to get the newly made cake. It was all turned around in less than two hours — and looked incredible!! As of that wasn’t enough Ramona didn’t charge me for the cake and gave me a vase of beautiful roses!! He then helped me carry everything to my car. That is called “5-star customer service” something I’ve never experienced at a Giant grocery store before but as a result you’ve won a loyal customer!! Thank you Ramona and I hope you’ll be promoted as a result of this incredible customer service and rapid problem solving!! I was truly blown away. With immense gratitude, Andrea Koppel
