I came with my family of three early for dinner, at around 4pm. It was not busy at that time. We had beef tibs, chicken tibs, and another dish. The food came quickly and was presented beautifully. It was delicious, and we also enjoyed the tray of sauces to use. Our server was very friendly and told us a bit of Ethiopian history. The dining room is nicely decorated and the lighting is pleasant. We were delighted with our experience at Chercher.

I had a delicious meal at CherCher! Super hearty and flavorful. I’d definitely recommend stopping in if you’re looking for a nice warm meal. Their ginger tea paired so nicely with the sampler plate.

I wanted to preface this by saying my only exposure to Ethiopian food is Dukem in Baltimore. The difference between the two come down to quality, flavor, atmosphere and portion size; I was shocked to not be smacked in the face by sheer hot spice like I get at Dukem and, instead, could enjoy and savor every single one of the ten sides in the vegan platter. The injera was equally as delicious as it was light, serving as the perfect vessel for the sides. My partner did mention that the fish he got was a tad overcooked and tough but still delicious, so not enough to warrant taking off a star. The avocado salad was also fresh, delicious and comes with a super tasty home made dressing. Highly recommend. Needless to say I hope to come back for that vegan platter again in the near future. Thank you for such a good time, CherCher! Also, our waitress was super sweet and really helped to make the experience that much more enjoyable.

This was the first time I had Ethiopian's food and it was really good. I def would go again. They have vegetarian options.
