I’ve been coming to this Chipotle Mexican Grill location every week sometimes twice a week because my toddler loves it. It became our little date spot since his daycare is next door. For months everything was smooth, but recently the experience has become frustrating and stressful.
Two weeks ago, I forgot my wallet and had my husband place the order through the app. My toddler was already upset and hungry while we waited. I showed proof of purchase and simply asked for the food so I could sit down and feed him. Instead, there was confusion, the order was remade, and the manager said I could only take one meal because only one was paid for, even though I never asked for a second meal. The second meal was trashed. I do not think this makes sense. But, ok.
By the time we finally sat down, my toddler’s quesadilla had been sitting under the warmer so long that it was extremely hot. He burned his tongue trying to eat it. What should have been a quick and simple dinner turned into an unnecessary ordeal that affected my child.
Today was the final straw.
I made the accommodation today by having my husband order online in advance so pickup would be easier and smoother, but it still was not.
I came in for an order for Anthonio. The restaurant was empty and there was only one order on the pickup shelf, yet the same manager and cashier would not release it. My toddler was melting down again because it was dinner time.
I had to ask them to at least give me a milk until we figured it out, just so I could calm my hungry toddler. I told the manager he literally sees me every week. I'm not trying to steal a milk and he finally gave it to me. There was no effort to help or de-escalate the situation. It turned out the order was under Tony instead of Anthonio, and it was the same 1 bag sitting there the entire time.
What should have been a 30 second pickup turned into another stressful experience for no reason at all. There was only 1 order on the rack. If they had simply asked whether the order could be under Tony, the issue would have been solved immediately. Instead I had to call my husband ask him if he picked the right location and go down a rabbit hole to figure out he placed until Tony.
This used to be the easy button for me. My toddler loves it, and it was a simple go to after daycare. A toddler does not understand why we are not eating yet. He does not understand, “Sweetie, it’s because mommy said Anthonio instead of Tony.”
This location is not kid friendly, not accommodating, and creates unnecessary problems over simple situations. I will not be returning.
My recommendation is simple: remember your regular customers and make the experience pleasant. Something as easy as recognizing, “Here is the mom with the child who comes every week and orders the same thing, let’s help make this easy for her,” would go a long way. I used to work in a restaurant, and customer service plus common sense matter. Small kindnesses create loyal customers.

Steak was a little dry, but that wasn't a big deal. Inside the restaurant was clean. The ladies restroom was dirty and there was a dead roach on the floor.

I had ordered Chipotle Catering twice on separate occasions and this restaurant had forgotten an item or two on both orders. They then decided to argue with me and made me repay for those items because the worker “remembered” putting it in. Throughout this conversation, each worker was rude and half of them you could not even communicate with. Then on my second incident, the worker even threatened to check the camera’s and when she found out she actually did forget and her memory was bad, she did not even man up to her mistake but instead got some other worker from the back to give me my forgotten sides.
I WOULD RECOMMEND YOU STAY AWAY FROM THIS CHIPOTLE AT ALL COSTS
