Everything from a kind word, smile and wave from Natasha in Customer Service (seriously - always kind and patient) - to recently trying to stretch every dollar and still make special holidays I had questions and needed help and Rick and Cyrus in the Butcher/Meat Dept were SO helpful, didn't make it intimidating, understood what I was after trying to feed a growing boy and our family and my budget and needs and listened and it was great to get that kind of help. Helped figure out the right cuts and even pointers on how to cook best. I left really happy - and told everyone I know about the great app sale prices and quality but also about that level of service which is such a great asset. Meat can be pricey so buying it with confidence in what you are getting and someone taking the time to listen and guide is great - reminded me of old school butcher shop. We need this in our community. Now more than ever. I also have to give a shoutout to the deli guys - they made me laugh with the announcement and that Monday Fried Chicken deal cannot be beat and is a big help to Moms who need an after school meal for hungry kids! This Safeway location is known as the "Good Safeway" in our house and it really is that these people that make all the difference.
