- LHL HAug 17, 20251.0Today I ordered two Mango Magic smoothies ($7.69 each). I added the Spinach & Kale Super Pack ($1.00) to both and Peanut Butter ($1.29) to one of them. After tax, my total came to $22.53, which already felt a bit high, but I went ahead and paid. The cashier didn’t hand me a receipt, so I grabbed it myself. That’s when I noticed two charges for an “Energizer” ($1.29 each). I asked what that was, and he seemed confused. He went to the register, then lifted a tablet out of one of the ingredient containers. I asked, “You put a pill in my drinks?” but he didn’t respond—he just continued making them. It feels like they may be adding this “energy” pill without asking, since it doesn’t really affect the taste, and without a receipt most people probably wouldn’t notice the charge. I didn’t make a scene, but I won’t be returning to this location. I’ll stick with the Pikesville store instead.
