I don't want what her problem is but, she seems to think she being paid to make it everyone else's. She seems to be so notorious here that when I asked for a manger from a different employee they said "let me guess it's about Tawanda, she gets a lot of complaints" she's infamous even amongst her coworkers. unlike her coworkers I can choose to go to Harris Teeter down the street from now on. It's insane anyone would allow her to work with people in a front facing position.

A cashier ignored my coupon by falsely claiming it was for an item on sale and couldn’t be used. WRONG. It was the companies coupon and they reimburse the store. I doubt she would even be the one mailing them in. No more Russian black bread. Even us country bumpkins will notice a lack of scrapple. They also change the aisles almost weekly now. I don’t see the purpose other than holding customers up.

Instead of hiring more people for checkout, they installed this barely functional security gate. Clearly they don’t care about offering employment opportunities to the community, or creating a comfortable shopping experience for their customers. Because of this the lines are poorly managed, if at all, and the constant self-checkout glitches make people linger at the checkout. If you need something slightly more elevated than basic groceries, they don’t carry it or are always out of stock (like lady fingers or duck legs). These days I just try avoid this Safeway altogether, but every time I shop here, I find myself wishing I had just gone to another store.
