Family and friends gathered for Christmas dinner. What a disappointment. It took over an hour to receive our food and our waiter was either ill trained or new. He never communicated with us except for on the run. The main problem was the food. For the prices paid I’ve eaten exceptionally better at Longhorn, Olive Garden and Outback. Another customer behind me concurred on her way out. They too were disappointed. To add insult to injury the waiter added a 118.00 tip for his substandard efforts. I requested a manager and the first person to respond was a petite woman who deferred to someone else. She proceeded to the prep table to handle food without washing her hands or covering for her hair. Violation of health code I do believe. The second person I will assume was the manager, approached me and I explained that the waiter was substandard in his efforts, and I did not feel compelled to pay him 118.00 tip for his lack of professionalism and service. He rarely checked on us and was all over the place. The manager was rude and said, “You refusing to pay the tip?” I responded no I’m not refusing but he does not deserve that amount. He rudely walked away. Unbeknownst to me I look up and my husband had gotten up to good explain to him how rude he was and he returned to apologize and removed the tip from the receipt. Our waiter returned and I explained to him how to disburse the payments on the cards and cash no tip included. He included anyway. I summoned the manager a second time and he took care of it. What a mess!!! I suppose looks can be deceiving but they do not EVER, EVER , EVER have to worry about my visit to any Morton’s in Baltimore, D.C. or wherever they are located. Just know we traveled about three hours to have dinner. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER AGAIN! I would encourage management to revisit your food and service. You treat people like hood rats. Go to Fogo De Chao and learn about quality of food, service and professional prowess because it truly is absent from this joint.

We took our daughter for her first really good steak experience and it was perfect. It was a bit busy due to being Christmas but the service was still great. 👌

Nice steak house, but for the tier of steak houses where this one resides, there are better choices. You will get an excellent meal here, but they may need to step it up a bit to maintain the status they project. Service was ok, but you shouldn't expect to ask to have your drink filled at a place like this.

In town for a wedding decided to go to Mortons for steaks. There were three of us. First the good, the server was attentive, the drinks were great and the sides were fantastic. We ordered 1 sirloin medium rare, 1 sirloin medium and 1 filet medium plus. The medium rare was completely raw, the medium sirloin was rare and the filet was rare+. Our server took the steaks back and they arrived cooked to our original order. Mortons should be a venue where your steaks are cooked to perfection. Was very disappointed!
