Price gouging. They charge $10+ for cafe bustelo 10oz which is currently $4.28 at other grocery stores including Amazon. Unreal.

I do enjoy coming to this market for odds and ends because it's clean well lit. Customer service is outstanding 98% of the time. This market is never too congested even when it's super busy. There are always a lot of cadhier lines open along with self checkout. Sushi is also served here. Their personal entrées are satisfactory and with reasonable portions. Unfortunately, their Deviled Egg Potatoe Salad is disgusting because the potatoes are partially cooked.

This location is a very convenient and fully stocked grocery store with large selection of vegetables. In a city where grocery stores are hard to come by, this store is a blessing. The prices are good vs average retail pricing and they have good weekly deals. Much of the staff lives nearby or in Baltimore city, giving it a local flair sometimes missing from other stores in the county. The deli and hot meals section is a favorite of mine. They have everything from prepared hot meals, a buffet type section, fresh meats, to sushi. Their fried chicken is really good and very affordable. Some may say the store is a bit smaller than other Giant store locations and that is true. Sometimes the aisles can be busy with other shoppers but most people are easy going. Pushing around a full sized cart can be a little difficult at times but not impossible. They have half sized carts that work better. Even when the store is busy, the flow of shoppers entering the store, finding products, and checking out is fairly fast. Sometimes busier time is on Sunday and evenings. They have a customer service desk that always available. In more than one occasion I found them helpful when dealing with issues such as glass in the parking lot and answering questions about sales. The best way to get deals with this store is to use their Giant account cards with their app or website. They have a number of digital deals that can offer great deals not found otherwise. Some coupon deals may even stack on already sale prices. The store has both self check out and full check out sections. Like some of written, the store usually doesn't have all their full checkout sections open. Sometimes their self checkout machines are closed as well. Still, getting in and out is far faster than other stores. If there is a downside, it might be the tightly packaged self check out section. During busy times it can be packed and locating open machines can be tricky. This can be make the self check out a bit more stressful for both customers and staff than found at other stores. Still, its a faster check out process than the full check out lines. What used to be the Rotunda Giant (from years past), this location serves the area well. Its smaller than the nearby one on 33rd street and other locations. Convenience is its strongest suite.
