  I had a great experience at Tropical Smoothie thanks to one of the employees, Madison. She was friendly, professional, and very patient while taking my order. She made sure everything was correct and prepared my smoothie quickly. Her positive attitude and customer service really stood out and made my visit enjoyable.

  When ever I go in theirs always a smile on people's face their friendly and the help out when I want to get rewards or if I don't understand . Also the food always is good and I recommend it to my friends everything I go there . The atmosphere in their is calm and cheery will a pinch of natural and nature i love the place

  This morning, I walked into Tropical Smoothie Café and ordered a Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie. I asked if they could add Nutella, because two other locations I visit allow it and simply charge it as extra peanut butter. One of the employees said it wouldn’t be a problem, but then the manager stepped in and told me, in a noticeably nasty and aggressive tone, that they do not do that at this location. Because of the way she spoke to me, I asked to speak with a manager, and she responded—again in an aggressive manner, that she was the manager. I then asked if they could charge it the same way other stores do, and she said, “If they do that somewhere else, that’s them. We don’t do that here.” At that point, I left the store. When I came back in, I asked for the contact information for someone above her, such as a district manager. She refused and said, “I’m not giving you anybody’s information. They’re not going to tell you anything different.” What she didn’t understand is that I wasn’t trying to escalate the question about Nutella—I had accepted that. I wanted to speak with someone about the unprofessional and disrespectful way she and the other employee spoke to me and interacted with me. I don’t know if they assumed I was a student because I was wearing a sweatsuit, but I am not. I am actually a professor. And even if I were a young student, I still should not have been spoken to the way I was. The tone, the attitude, and the treatment I received this morning were unacceptable. All I asked for was the contact information for someone above the store level. For these reasons, I would rate the service less than a one if that were possible.
