- SRShayla RiddickSep 30, 20251.0Today I visited Tropical smoothie and ordered two chia banana boost smoothies. As I was drinking it, I noticed there were small, very hard pieces inside of it. They were so hard that I couldn’t chew them. I called the store and informed them of this and they advised that the pieces were dates. I talked to an associate and then the shift lead. I informed her I that I visit tropical smoothie regularly and have never experienced this before after having the smoothie probably over a hundred times. She assured me that it was normal. I explained to her that it’s so hard that I can’t chew it and that I’m also worried about how it will digest. Then I asked for a refund and she refused. I’m not sure what kind of business this is, when they refuse a refund or any sort of remedy when a customer is dissatisfied. I’ve probably visited every tropical smoothie in Baltimore and in surrounding counties and never had such a poor experience.

This was the first nastiest customer service I have ever experienced. Will never be back there again they really need classes on customer service.
