She didn’t bring us our food she quite literally just took the order and that was it. So what was the tip even for? It must’ve been her last day….

We shared the fried green tomatoes which were well done but needed salt. I ordered the Gravy Train that came with a biscuit, gravy, grits, collard greens, and fried chicken. While the dish was tasty I found it bland. In this instance more salt probably would have helped as well but they mention Cajun seasoning that is undectetable. I can't believe the iced tea was $5, that's ridiculous. The service was efficient but could have been more present and lacked charisma. However, I've been to the Miss Shirley's by Baltimore's Harbor that was what set my initial expectations really high. The place was okay but I wouldn't hurry back.
