    This location is very dated. It’s in serious need of a makeover. The Accokeek community deserves better!!! It would be great to have nice music, a new look inside the store and better produce options for it to be more welcoming and actually be a part of bringing this community together. New employees would also be of service!!

    n October 1st in the afternoon, I experienced unprovoked, intimidating behavior from two employees while using the self-checkout. As I walked toward the self-checkout, one employee followed me closely, walking beside me the entire way with an angry expression. Another employee stood nearby, observing. During checkout, I had difficulty scanning a tomato, and the self-checkout associate promptly assisted me. He even attempted a brief, polite conversation about one of the items I was purchasing, but the two observing employees appeared to discourage him from continuing, which added to the tense and uncomfortable atmosphere. After completing my purchase, the same employee positioned herself near the exit, continuing to watch me with a menacing demeanor. This behavior was entirely unwarranted and made me feel singled out, uncomfortable, and unsafe. Every customer deserves to shop without fear or intimidation, and I hope sharing this experience encourages the store to ensure all patrons are treated with respect and dignity.
