Not happy with my experience at all. Our group came in at 445pm the restaurant had made 3 tables busy and the hostess proceeded to tell us that we couldn't get a table because the restaurant is under a reservation at 630pm!!! That's almost 2 hours. When we asked if she was going to give us a table she said she couldn't. Another host came and explained that we would have to be out of the restaurant by 630pm. When the hostess finally decided we were able to come in, she proceed to make us feel like we couldn't sit at the table we had ask to. During our visit we notice the waitress didn't tell us about any specials and its was quite a shitty experience. This whole situation should and could have been handled way better. We would have understood the reasoning of the situation if it was explained to us not making us feel like our business wasn't wanted. Not happy.

Food was decent I mean avg type food like moxies or earls but still tasty. But it was grand opening night and we went without knowing. They walked around with food and avoided our table , offered the “influencers” multiple times. I found that rude and quite the turn off that they were treated a different standard when we are the high paying customers and they get deals and free things. Odd way to have a grand opening. Not the vibe I want especially when my workplace was excited to have lunches here as our office is across. I prob won’t recommend.

To start the review with a positive, our server/bartender was wonderful and attentive! As for everything else it was a complete let down. We ordered the calamari, it was fine, not a whole lot of flavour but a decent portion size. For mains my boyfriend ordered the burger which had an extremely fishy taste and we were concerned the meat was going bad. My fish tacos were fine, just filled with lettuce and not a whole lot of anything else, no flavour to it at all. For both mains we chose the fries option which were disappointing to say the least, there were legit 10 “fries” for on each order. I wouldn’t have written a review if the meal was cheaper but we spent $120 for a meal we barely ate. Overall would not recommend

Went for a birthday dinner to try something new. Ordered the Bison Burger, Steak with Caesar salad, Mocktail and Beer.
Was served the wrong Mocktail, took 5 minutes to flag down the server to get the correct one. Was not given the salad as the kitchen apparently ignored this substitution, and the server had to get it made. It showed up looking and tasting like a bagged salad from the grocery store.
Ordered the steak medium rare, and half was rare, half medium rare, so not even cooked properly.
The Bison Burger was dry and mediocre at best.
I would not recommend this restaurant or return again.

The most unpleasant restaurant experience we’ve had in Winnipeg. So many things went wrong during our visit. Even though we had a reservation, there wasn’t enough space for our group of 10 including two kids. They wanted us to squeeze together, meanwhile winter coats took up seating space since there’s no coat rack. The manager eventually fixed this and offered two free appetizers, which was nice of him, but the tone had already kind of been set.
The waitress was a big part of what made this experience not great. We ordered five different appetizers and they brought out just one to start. 10 people sharing one plate of wings, one piece each, then waiting another 10 minutes for the rest. Very awkward. She then mis-explained the shrimp appetizer. I specifically asked how many pieces of shrimp came as add-on’s with the flat bread, and whether two sides of add-on shrimps would be enough for our group. She said yes and mentioned skewers, but the shrimps came as TOPPINGS on the flatbread and not as stand-alone appetizers! No skewers, no pieces we could share. This was so disappointing as we all were looking forward to shrimps.
For mains, anyone who ordered mashed potatoes did not enjoy their meal. The mashed potatoes were firm and dry, not fluffy at all. My dad even joked awkwardly that cutting into them was like cutting into yams. He didn’t want out-right say it was bad, as we had brought him here to celebrate his birthday. My sister’s steak was supposed to be well done but was TOO well done. It was so dry and chewy. My brother’s girlfriend ordered some sort of pineapple cocktail that had barely any pineapple flavour. My brother tasted it and confirmed it was bland, which was surprising because it looked so good. Some dishes like the buttermilk chicken, cheeseburger, and rigatoni were really good- no complaints there. The inconsistency was what was frustrating. I won’t even go into the too sweet lemonade drink. I diluted it twice with water and it was still too sweet.
The dessert experience was honestly the most painful part. I asked the waitress in advance if they could bring out a birthday cake with a song for my dad or at least let me know so we could do it ourselves. Instead, she just dropped a HUGE cake in front of him and walked away. No song. No warning. I asked her about the song and she said she wasn’t comfortable singing. Okay…at least let me know so we could sing ourselves! We’d wanted some kind of jubilation happening as the cake was being served. That never happened, which was meant to be the highlight of the evening. She literally just served him a huge cake for 10 people and walked away. My dad looked so confused like this huge cake for him? We explained it was meant to be shared and he was supposed to have a small slice just for himself. She had even placed 10 spoons in front of him with NO dessert plates! We had to pass the chocolate cake around and cut from the same plate. And the cake was FROZEN. FROZEN! Who serves frozen cake in a restaurant? We couldn’t even cut through, we had to use a table knife with some force to eventually cut through…per person! I’m guessing they don’t make their own desserts because why is it frozen??

At the end, I asked to order another dessert since we didn’t enjoy that one, but she basically implied our time was up and didn't bring a menu. She instead, listed options and I asked for a vanilla option but apparently there was nothing like that on the menu. Chocolate, cinnamon and more chocolate were apparently the only options, and another that wouldn’t be good to go. Then the bill came with the expectation to tip for service that was anything but good.
We all left rather disappointed. My dad even asked whose idea it was to come here. That says it all. Never visiting this location again or recommending it to anyone.
