Overall, the experience was okay, but it did not fully meet our expectations. The service was very good and the staff was attentive, which we appreciated. However, when it comes to the food, we felt that it lacked flavor.
The restaurant presents itself as Italian, and coming from an Italian family, the dishes did not feel very authentic. The food seems more like fast-style Italian cuisine, and for the price, it does not quite justify the quality. The minestrone, the fettuccine, carbonara, and even the breadsticks could benefit from improved recipes and more traditional Italian flavors. Nothing was bad, but it was not as delicious as one would expect for the price and for a place that claims to be Italian.
Additionally, the atmosphere could be improved. There was no Italian music or other elements that reflected Italian culture, which made the experience feel less immersive.
Overall, it’s not a bad restaurant, but there is definitely room for improvement, especially in flavor, authenticity, and ambiance.
