She was unaware of the details of the incident, misspoke, and when I asked her to look further into this and then we could discuss came back to me with a “we did everything right” response after learning that they forced their employees to deep clean under respiratory distress. If they think forcing people to clean with no protective equipment and while having chemically induced respiratory issues is “everything right”, that’s alarming. Edit: Had discussions with Jacqueline (manager) about this. They were closed due to a bear spray incident at the mall, which I don’t fault them for in the slightest. I take issue with the fact that they forced their employees to deep clean the restaurant without any sort of protective equipment while struggling to breathe. I don’t care anymore about the rudeness, I care that their management forced them needless health issues and gave them no protective equipment to deal with the mess. I was offered a poutine for my inconvenience though - but they wanted me to download their app to give them a bunch of personal data they didn’t need. I wonder what other health and safety issues are there if they don’t see a problem with forcing their employees into respiratory distress. Rudely was told they were closing 2 hours earlier then what the schedule says they should be open until.
