The food was excellent, though we did have to get the kid pizzas reheated. We ordered 3 appetizers, which came out surprisingly quick. We ordered our meals shortly after the apps arrived. The meals came before we finished the apps! Our waitress was very quick with drink refills. They did the traditional birthday announcement, and sung to our birthday girl. All in all an excellent experience.

- GSG SDec 23, 20253.0I have been ordering delivery from Skip for a relative for a while now. Recently I was visiting when the delivery arrived. Half rack of ribs, corn bread, baked beans and a loaded baked potato for $31.00, +taxes, fees, tip, and an additional delivery fee, are extra for a total of $48.00. Before the meal review note that a full rack can be purchased for take out for $31.00 plus taxes. Consider that is twice the amount of food for much less to pick up instead of involving a third party (SKIP) for delivery. The ribs were well prepared with the right amount of sauce. I took issue with the portion amount provided for the sides. Corn bread was miniscule as were the baked beans portion. There was maybe 1/4 cup or two tablespoons of beans neither of which is a side. Lesson learned take the time pick up and get way more value for your dollar. What you make up for with twice the meat you can maybe accept the puny sides.

My husband opted for the Pitmaster combo, while I chose the twelve-ounce striploin with lobster tail and shrimp skewers, requesting it to be cooked medium-well. Unfortunately, it arrived medium-rare. Our waitress, Sam S., accommodated my request to remove the steak from my plate and place it on a smaller plate (with my fingers), although I question the food safety implications. I had ordered a loaded baked potato, but received loaded mashed potatoes instead. The 2 onion rings were cold, and the lobster tail and shrimp skewers were overcooked and rubbery. Given the total bill of $155.59, I was disappointed and would not recommend this restaurant at this price point.
