Food was hot and delicious, staff friendly but bc of setup of unwelcoming restaurant and are running all over trying to make all customers happy, resulting in a dirty place. Now comes the HORRIBLE PART, NO DRINK REFILLS AT ALL, NEVER GEARD OF SUCH A Thing. We will never be back bc the cheap owner really blew it with this location. Go to next location…
I have gone a couple times since they opened and the service has been great each time. I had a small quality complaint last night (I just wanted to bring it to their attention) and when I called they were so appreciative and went above and beyond to rectify.
First time being here and walking into the place and living so close by, it was a disappointment, the place was uninviting, isn't a place that feels warm and cozy, to sit around talk and have coffee with a friend, the Tim Hortons a few blocks down near Shoppers has a more cozy and inviting ambience.
Then it all goes down from there.
Not the best place to eat in, no fountain drink stall for refills, only one cash register in place, I guess they expect you to order online or at their automated touchscreen booths.
Pretty much non-existent staff, they all hide in the back, there was a customer waiting in-line at the only cash register for 15 minutes.
When I did see a staff come out they were chit chatting on their own native language, which was kind of rude and offensive. I would think being front line customer service, the business would implement and instruct their staff to talk english while in front of customers.
Customers can't see their food being prepped and made, unlike other McDonald's stores, at the back of the counter you see staff, this one is secluded and their food prep is hidden on the side.
If you have an issue with your order its tough to get hold of someone, cause they're all hidden and they tend to congregate all at the back, seems like nobody wants to confront customers.
Quite sad being that it seems like an ideal location for a McDonald's branch, it was a huge let down. Only thing this place is good for is drive thru, hopefully they get your order right.

I used to work at McDonald’s, so I know the rules — if you make a mistake ordering food and haven’t touched it, you can still have it changed. But the Indian girl here was very rude; I think she’s the manager very Rude..
The coffee is not flavorful and likely not made using the same technique/level of care as every other McDonald's in this city. It tastes like coffee flavored water. This needs to be addressed as that is the one item bringing most people by in the morning. (I am confident this will be corrected promptly once enough people voice this truth). The coffee has been like this for 3x separate visits over the last 14 days. The food is good. A brand new location, so it is clean. The staff are friendly and efficient at the window.
