While using the drive through, I ordered a chicken sandwich mid afternoon. After paying I was asked to move to the pickup area that would involve me leaving the parking lot cross two lanes of traffic and returning to the other side of the building parking area. I refused (poor design) but no one was behind me. The young man insisted ... I refused asked for my money back. He simply closed the window and I waited to recieve and overcooked chickenburger with less than a half teaspoon of lettuce and mayo combined and a tomato unceremoniously throw on my sandwich, by another clerk. I'm certain that I won't be back. They obviously don't need the business.

Tonight I ordered a Peanut Buster Parfait and was disappointed to find only peanuts on top instead of the proper layered mix. For the price, it felt more like an overpriced sundae than the classic parfait I expected.
I also ordered an Oreo Blizzard, and it was well below the rim line — again, not what you’d expect when paying premium prices for treats.
In a small town, consistency and quality control matter. When places like the Selkirk Dairy Queen deliver a higher standard, it’s noticeable. If this location doesn’t maintain the same level of quality, local support may start to dwindle.
Hoping to see improvements soon — we really do want to support our local businesses.

I had an awesome visit to this DQ location. The staff was welcoming, the service was fast, and everything tasted amazing. My order was made perfectly—fresh, delicious, and exactly how I asked for it. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, and the team seemed genuinely happy to help. Whether you’re craving ice cream or a hot meal, this DQ is definitely worth the stop!

Their radio was playing horrible techno dance beat "music", which really just butchers otherwise decent songs.
