  Absolute worst experience I’ve had in a bakery. I ordered a cake last week in order to pick it up today. I showed them exactly which cake I wanted (it was already on display in their window) and told them what I want written on the cake. Today I came to pick it up and the man (who happened to be the same man who took the order last week) had absolutely no idea what I was talking about. He finally spoke to someone who seemed to be more experienced inside and came out with a cake that was nothing like what I ordered. The one I wanted had flowers on it while this one was entirely different. Please seriously train your staff better, specifically the one who attends the front to take orders on Thursday evenings. He is really terrible at taking orders. My family and I will not be returning to this place again.

  Really let down by the puffs here—undercooked and lacking flavor. It didn’t feel fresh or well-prepared. Won’t be coming back, and wouldn’t recommend.

  Ordered an aloo sandwich from a place called “Bombay Baking Co”, naturally assumed it would be a Bombay-style aloo sandwich. Silly me! What I got? A South Indian-style aloo sabji between 2 slices. What gave it away? Mustard seeds, curry leaves, and ginger making a very confident appearance. And the side chutney? Definitely not the green chutney or the garlic chutney you’d expect. It was some random red colored chutney with a mustard seed tadka-which honestly tasted confusing. Only good thing about the sandwich was the onion and cheese(1star worthy) All of this for $14. What a loot.

  I was very disappointed with my experience at Bombay Baking Co. The pastry tasted dry and sponge-like, and the service was slow with inattentive staff. I have also heard their products may be connected to places like Vaanga, Madras Dosa Company (MDC), and Boston Halal, and that made me even more concerned about the quality. Based on my own visit, I would not return or recommend Bombay Baking Co. In addition to the poor pastry quality and slow, inattentive service, my visit also left me concerned about overall cleanliness and quality standards.
