Automatically adding a tip without the customer’s consent for a takeout feels sneaky and unethical. I can’t help but wonder how many people who stop by every morning for a quick bagel or coffee are getting charged extra without realizing it. If this is how they run things, I won’t be back.

- KKKristenSep 30, 20241.0Ordered ahead at Winchester location. Upon arrival at 1:30PM (closing at 2 per website) the staff was already shutting down and declining new customers. They informed us that our order was made but only on plain bagels (despite requesting otherwise). I attempted to look over the order and the staff immediately noticed and said ‘it’s all there’. When returning home, come to find out the two cream cheeses ($4.89 each) were not in the bag and one of the sandwiches and hash browns ordered was missing (half of a $44 order). Called the store to ask for a refund for missing items and they asked that we return in person the following day to which I declined. I am not going back to this store to deal with this never mind the fact I have no intentions of ever ordering from Bruegger’s again.
