We were quoted a 15–20 minute wait, but it ended up taking over 40 minutes and a couple of follow-ups to be seated. Unfortunately, the Margherita pizza arrived lukewarm, which was disappointing for a brick-oven spot. While the spinach and artichoke dip was flavorful, the flatbread served with it was quite oily. The team seemed understaffed and was struggling to keep up with the crowd. That said, I’m willing to give them another try next time I’m in the Waltham/Lexington area—hoping it was just an off night! Bertucchi in other locations quite seemed to have set the bar high.
