However, when it comes to the food, that's where it gets sticky. My hotdog 🌭 was as I remembered from past times: wonderful. The Cajun fries 🍟 were dynamic. My burger 🍔 was a disappointment. The Five Guys flavor that would always make me spend the money, ran away from the burger. Even with the toppings, that distinctive flavor kick was not there. I will go back and give it another chance soon. Thus the 4 stars versus the desired 5.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
