I am writing to formally report an issue that occurred at the Wendy’s located at 1290 Saint James Ave, Springfield, MA during the early morning hours of December 10th, at approximately 2:00 AM.
When we pulled up to the drive-through intercom, we were made to wait for approximately 30 minutes with no communication or acknowledgment from staff. After finally being instructed to pull forward, we observed that the employees were laughing and socializing at the window instead of assisting customers in a timely manner. One of the individuals at the window—a woman—continued talking and laughing for another 15 minutes, further delaying service.
This level of unprofessional behavior and disregard for customers is unacceptable. Waiting a total of about 45 minutes at a drive-through, especially without explanation, reflects poorly on the store’s management and customer service standards.
I respectfully request that this issue be reviewed and addressed to prevent similar experiences in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
