Our drink order was taken by a young girl that when asked any questions regarding the menu, would simply shrug her shoulders with a blank expressionless look on her face. I simply ordered pancakes. No sides, no eggs, just pancakes. After sitting for over an hour and a half and watching every table and counter customer come and go. I left frustrated, hungry, and pancakeless. When I explained I just wanted to take care of the payment for my coffee and leave, the other waitress was very rude stating tables are served in the order that they come in. When I stated they were now serving all of the tables that came in after us and we had been there for almost two hours, she handed me my money back and told me to just leave. Very rude and unapologetic. There was only one cook so I was very patient. Two hours for two pancakes I never saw and having to watch pancakes being served to tables that came in over an hour after mine. Completely disappointing.

We waited an hour and 50 minutes for food that never actually made it to our table. From the start, the service was lackluster. After waiting an hour and a half with no sign of our meals, we politely informed the server that we had to get going and asked for the food to be packed to go. Twenty minutes later—now almost two hours into our visit—we still had nothing. When we finally explained that we needed to leave and offered to simply pay for our drinks (coffee and orange juice) and go, we were met with an argumentative attitude instead of an apology. We were dismissively told that 'tables are served in order of arrival,' which was demonstrably false since we watched multiple tables seated after us receive their food and several takeout orders be processed. No apology was ever offered for the massive delay. We ended up leaving empty-handed and frustrated. Save your time and go somewhere that respects their customers.

The wait staff, I believe might be part of ownership was so pleasant, and the chef (owner?) came over to provide even more service. What a gem of a restaurant, I highly recommend trying, we certainly will go again for lunch!
