  Cleaner restrooms than most Stop & Shops including my "regular" Stop & Shop in Malden (which is undergoing renovations at the moment..) & prices were well below my expectations (cheaper than most places!) If the Malden Stop & Shop is ANYTHING like what I saw here in Somerville, then the renovations would so be WORTH the wait! 😁

  Extremly rude front desk. Blonde older lady shouldn’t be customer facing. Too many other grocery stores out there.

  5 stars for the people. 0 stars for the produce. I've been going to this stop and shop for years. It never had the best produce, but it was alright. The last couple of years however, the produce seems to have gotten worse. I know for a fact the last several times I've gone all my oranges have been bad or simply old. The other produce wasn't inedible, but it wasn't nearly as good as Market Basket, Wegmans, or even Aldi's. We all know Market Basket has the best produce. So maybe it's not a fair comparison, but Stop and Shop needs to up their fruit and veggies game. I actively avoid going here even though it's the closest grocery store to me by quite a distance. The people here are always great, however. I've never had a problem with them in the 17 years I've gone here.

  Horrible. They made me wait for ever for fish. Then the person was really disrespectful. I will never come back.

  Had a pleasant experience there today - 12 noon- The lines at the register suddenly got long. The front end mgr jumped on a register & the Customer Service lady came around the counter to assist in bagging my groceries. Working in retail can be unforgiving - these ladies deserve recognition for excellent customer service.
